Two of the best indoor swimming pools are at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). There is one 50 metre pool at Garden Point in the city and another 25 metre pool at Kelvin Grove . Warringa Pool is an incredibly peaceful swimming hole sheltered deep in a rainforested gully. There is a small plunge pool higher up which flows out over the rocks and into a deeper pool of about 10m in diameter and plenty deep enough for a proper swim. Stunningly verdant views up and down the valley give a lush deep jungle-like feeling to this spot.
